LENNOX HEAD
The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay, Lennox Head is a beautiful, quiet seaside village 15 minutes drive south of Byron. Rich in aboriginal heritage the area belonging to the Nyangbal Bundjalong with a last remaining ceremonial ring preserved in the village.

 

It has been named a national surfing reserve for its world famous right hand point break & surrounding beaches. The view from the top of Pat Morten lookout is absolutely stunning! A great place to spot the whales in migration. Lennox is also home to Lake Ainsworth, a freshwater lagoon that the water is permanently stained from the natural tannins in the Ti trees lining the banks. The water is said to have health giving and rejuvenating properties. A perfect spot for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming BBQ’s and picnics.
